The room
before the room.
Details, finishing touches, nerves, laughter, and the people who make the getting-ready part feel like its own beginning.
Weddings · elopements · Newfoundland
The deep breath before the ceremony. The aunt who cries first. The friend who gets everyone on the dance floor. I photograph the shape of the day so you can stay inside it.
Photography starts here. Coordination, guests, vendors and payments live in the VBS Studio portal.

Not just the aisle
A wedding is never only the part where two people stand at the front. It is the hands fixing a cuff, the cousins finding each other again, the quiet five minutes outside, and the dance floor becoming a completely different place after dinner.
My approach is gently directed when you need it and observant when you do not. You get photographs that feel considered without making the day feel staged — a visual record with room for the people, weather, culture, humour, and happy chaos that make it yours.
“The best photographs are often the ones nobody thought to pose.”

Coverage that follows the day
Every wedding is different. These are the moments I watch for, whether they happen in twelve hours, six hours, or one beautifully small afternoon.
Details, finishing touches, nerves, laughter, and the people who make the getting-ready part feel like its own beginning.
Ceremony, vows, glances, cultural traditions, and the small reactions that happen just outside the official moment.
Portraits with direction that still feels like you — a little space, beautiful light, and no forced catalogue of poses.
Toasts, hugs, second helpings, full-volume dancing, and the version of the night you will be glad someone remembered.
Two good next steps
Not sure which button is yours? Easy: use booking to talk about photography. Use the portal when you are ready to coordinate the wider wedding world. They are connected, but they do different jobs.
Share your date, location, guest count, coverage hopes, and the moments you already know you want to hold onto.
Open VBS Studio for guest lists, vendor conversations, planning tasks, payments, timelines, and the moving parts behind the beautiful part.
A shape for your timeline
Elopement, half day, or full day: the package page has current starting points and the details of what each shape includes.
Intimate coverage for a short ceremony, portraits, and the people or place that make the day feel complete.

You do not need a perfect plan. You only need enough to begin a useful conversation.
Send the date, the place, and whatever you already know. I will help you choose the coverage that makes the most sense.
Yes. Use the booking form to share your preferred date and choose 2027 or 2028 so the conversation starts in the right place.
I review the date, the shape of the day, and what matters most to you. From there we can talk through coverage, the practical details, and the best next step without turning your inbox into a part-time job.
Absolutely. Smaller does not mean less meaningful. Coverage can be shaped around a courthouse, a coastline, a tiny guest list, or a day built around just the two of you.
The booking page is for photography availability and your inquiry. VBS Studio is the coordination space for the wider event: guests, vendors, tasks, timelines, payments, and the details that deserve somewhere calmer than a group chat.
Tell me what you are imagining in the inquiry. Package starting points are a useful map, not a rulebook, and we can talk through additions or a custom shape.
