Couples · engagement · family / St. John's, NL

The two of you, in every season.

The first walk. The yes. The little getaway with no guest list. The first baby, then the family that keeps changing shape. I photograph the parts that make your story feel like yours.

A longer kind of love story

Not one moment.
All of them.

You do not need a big announcement to deserve photographs. You can come because you are newly engaged, because you have found a cove where you want to run away for an afternoon, or because your child has just started smiling at the world.

These sessions are built around movement, small prompts and enough space for you to forget the camera is there. We can make something polished, playful, windswept or wonderfully ordinary.

“The photographs should feel like a memory you can step back into.”

Where are you right now?

There is no right stage to photograph. Start with the part that feels most like you, and we will make the session fit around it.

Couples session with a natural, relaxed feeling
01 / together
01 / TOGETHER

The ordinary day, made memorable.

For the couple who wants photographs that feel like a walk, a coffee, a favourite record and a lot of laughing. We will make room for the gestures you already have.

Engagement portraits with a warm editorial feel
02 / the promise
02 / THE PROMISE

Engaged, but still yourselves.

Engagement photos do not need to become a second performance of the wedding. Bring the outfit you feel brilliant in, the place that matters, or simply the person you cannot stop looking at.

A quiet elopement-inspired portrait session
03 / the getaway
03 / THE GETAWAY

Elopements for the two of you.

A coastline, a courthouse, a favourite trail, a tiny guest list or no guest list at all. Elopement coverage can be intimate and unrushed, with photographs of the details and the space around you.

A first-baby family photography moment
04 / the beginning
04 / THE BEGINNING

The first baby, the new rhythm.

The tiny details, the tired joy, the way you learn each other all over again. New-parent sessions can happen at home, outdoors or wherever the day already feels gentle.

Growing family portraits with playful connection
05 / growing
05 / GROWING

More people, same story.

Family photographs do not have to mean everyone looking at the camera. We will keep the movement, the mischief, the little hands and the people who make your home feel like home.

A session that meets you there

Make it yours.

Choose a starting point and I will help shape the rest: location, light, wardrobe, pace and what you want to remember most.

Connection over posing.

A little guidance goes a long way. I will give you prompts that create movement and let you settle into each other, then step back when the real moment arrives.

  • St. John's + surrounding coast
  • Golden hour or soft overcast
  • One hour or custom coverage
  • Private online gallery

Keep the anticipation.

Bring the ring, the dog, the outfit, the nervous laugh or the place where you first knew. Engagement sessions can be editorial, casual, coastal or a little bit of all four.

  • Location planning included
  • Wardrobe guidance
  • Natural prompts + direction
  • Print-ready gallery delivery

Let it be a little messy.

Children do not need to perform for the camera. We follow their energy, find the quiet pockets and make photographs that hold the full texture of this season.

  • At-home or outdoor options
  • Baby-led pace
  • Partner and sibling portraits
  • Images for the family archive

A small day can still feel epic.

For the two of you, your closest people and the place you choose. Pair this story with the wedding inquiry, and we will build a calm plan around your day.

  • Short or extended coverage
  • Details + place + people
  • Timeline-friendly planning
  • Optional highlight video

What it feels like to work together

Easy from the first note.

01 / FIND THE SHAPE

Tell me what is changing.

Send a few details through the inquiry form. We will choose the session type, location, timing and pace that make sense for this chapter.

02 / MAKE SOME ROOM

Come as you are.

You do not need to know how to pose. I will guide you with small prompts, watch the light and give you space to be yourselves.

03 / KEEP IT CLOSE

Receive the story.

Your curated gallery arrives ready to revisit, share and print. The images are made to live beyond the scroll.

Before you ask

A few good questions.

Do we need to know how to pose?

No. I will offer direction when you want it and let the natural moments take over when they arrive. The goal is to feel comfortable, not choreographed.

Can we bring our dog or our children?

Absolutely. Pets and children are part of the story. We build in movement, breaks and the kind of flexibility that keeps a session feeling like real life.

Where do couples sessions happen?

We can work along the St. John's coastline, in a meaningful neighbourhood, at home, or somewhere slightly farther afield. I will help choose a place that supports the feeling you want.

What if we want a small wedding or elopement?

Start with the wedding photography page for coverage, then use this page as the visual direction. We can make the day feel intimate without making it feel small.
